Hong Kong houseware fair 2019

This year Bottigelli made its first experience on the chinese market, taking part for the first time to the Hong Kong Houseware fair (19-23 April). The fair has more than 30 years of history and it’s one of the biggest houseware event in Asia. 

Every year the fair is organizing events and expositions to study the new trends for colours and materials. This year some of our “SOFT” place mats were selected to represent the 2019 trend “playful plush“, a proposal of items with colourful and vivid designs. 

We have also received the fair label “green products” for showcasing eco friendly items. In fact, using good quality PVC tableware it’s possible to save a remarkable quantity of water and energy during the year, because there’s no need to use a washing machine – handwashing is enough. PVC tableware is also a good alternative to the big amounth of paper disposable tablecloths and place mats used in the HORECA industry: in fact, pvc tablecloths are easy to keep and can be used over and over for years. 

Buyer point 2019

We have also joined again Buyer point (14-15 May), a fair that is becoming every year more and more important for the italian DIY market. Buyer Point is a unique format in Italy, focusing on local and international qualified buyers. 

This year one of the new proposals was the central hall, were the exhibitors had the chance to present their products as in a real shop. We have also prepared our own shelving unit, showcasing our ready made tablecloths, place mats and the Easyfloor mat in roll.
